The Senecio rowleyanus is also called string of pearls, because of the pearl-shaped leaves. This plant is a succulent and because of that, it can withstand drought very well. String of pearls also loves hanging on a spot with lots of light. When the pearl is big and shiny, the plant has enough moisture. When the pearl is shrivelled, it needs some water. However, be careful with too much water, when it gets too wet, it will shrivel as well because it will start to rot, so give minimal water and nutrition.
